Petromax iron casting quality: Thanks to the incredible characteristics of cast iron and the special surface structure, heat is stored and distributed efficiently. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes a first seasoning unnecessary, and the robust oven can be used immediately. Outdoors, it is used in a campfire or with charcoal and briquettes. The raised edge of the lid allows you to place hot coals or charcoal in the Dutch oven as well. The Dutch oven heats up from all sides and is, for example, suitable for baking bread.
The Dutch oven features clever details that make it easy to handle and provide an incredible cooking experience. It can be lifted safely thanks to a sturdy handle and is also characterized by a thermometer hole that allows you to check the temperature without having to lift the lid. When you need it, lifting the hot lid is particularly easy thanks to the Petromax lid lifter. Another special feature is that the improved lid can also be used as a frying pan. In addition to all these ingenious details, the Dutch oven has a traditional Petromax design: the lid is decorated with the elegant dragon logo, which has always been an excellent representation of quality and high-ranking products. Soups, meat dishes, as well as stews, casseroles and pastries can be prepared exceptionally well.

The FT3 has a 1.6 liter capacity for preparing sauces and desserts.
