This work, which has now reached its fourth edition, has become an indispensable reference in the Spanish deer literature on the smallest of our cervids. The book, together with the subsequent Más Cosas de Corzos , condense all the knowledge about the Capreolus capreolus of the author, founder and honorary president of the Spanish Roe Deer Association. In its chapters, as well as presenting an overview of the biological characteristics of the species, it analyses the situation of the roe deer in Spain and the reasons for its expansion, gives advice on stalking, waiting or hunting with a lure, and proposes new formulas for the approval of its trophy and for its gastronomic use. The book includes ten hunting stories with the small deer as the main character.
