The ALPEN Apex XP 2.5-16x42 is a universal riflescope designed for day and twilight hunting . It has a tube diameter of 30 mm and comes with the innovative illuminated BDC reticle , which is located in the second focal plane and does not increase in size when zoomed. This means you don't need to do any calculations using the MOA (minute of angle) method. The reticle can be easily adjusted with MRAD , i.e. 1 click = 1 cm at 100 meters .
Lightweight and Durable Design : With its compact size and lightweight design ( 615 g ), the scope is ideal for use with accessories. It is also recoil-proof and features a water-resistant housing that allows for use in adverse weather conditions .
Zoom with FluoDigits technology : The zoom ring features a comfortable, grooved design and can be moved effortlessly using a small knob. Thanks to FluoDigits technology, the viewfinder is also easy to use in low-light conditions : fluorescent zoom numbers discreetly display the zoom level at twilight or even in the dark, with a battery life of at least 5 hours .
Coating : Another highlight of the scope is the innovative, premium coating , which produces clear, sharp images .
Innovative SmartDot Technology - The riflescope comes with SmartDot technology, which reduces battery consumption and saves you time. Thanks to the built-in tilt sensor , the light dot automatically turns on and off when you move the rifle into a shooting/standby position. The light unit is located on the left side of the tube to ensure the riflescope is always ready for use , saving you valuable time. As you would expect from a riflescope, the ALPEN Apex XP 2.5-16x42 comes with a zero-stop function .
Weather and recoil resistant : Thanks to the premium ALPEN optics, the riflescope is also suitable for use in adverse weather conditions . It is waterproof up to 3 meters (IPX7) and can therefore withstand heavy rain, snow, fog , or even short periods of submersion. The rugged housing provides a reliable seal and prevents liquid from entering the optics. In addition, the optics are nitrogen-filled to prevent the lens from fogging up and obstructing vision in the event of sudden temperature changes . As a premium riflescope, the ALPEN Apex XP is recoil resistant up to 1000 grams (equivalent to a Magnum caliber).
