How do I start filming my hunt? Here are some tips and advice.

The way to keep your hunting memories has changed, and new generations prefer to document those unique moments with photos and videos.

Thanks to new technologies, we only need our mobile phone to be able to make more than acceptable content.

Surely, in many of the field trips that you share with friends and loved ones, you live unique moments or even have the opportunity to experience events that, surely, you will never be able to relive again.

This is the kind of thing that encouraged the Young Wild Hunters team to start recording every time they went out into the countryside. There are always unique moments that we will want to remember for the rest of our lives.

How do we record our hunts at Young Wild Hunters?

Each of our outings is different from the next or the previous one and that's why we like to go in good company and with good equipment, to be able to document everything we want to remember and show to the rest of the people, to be able to transmit what we experience and how we do it.

Our productions are synonymous with quality because our team is completely professional, but this was not always the case. In the beginning, before Young Wild Hunters existed, we would go out into the field with our SLR camera and our mobile phone to record everything we did and show it to our family and friends on our return.

We try to include all kinds of details, from the beginning of the day, before going out to the field, until the moment of returning once the activity is finished, so that people understand absolutely the whole process and feel that they live the experience with us, in the closest possible way.
How to record my hunting documentary?
It is essential to plan what you want to transmit, to previously elaborate a plan and try to work on it, although it is also true that Young Wild Hunters tries to show all the reality of each of our experiences (always with a script and an order, but being transparent and showing everything that happened).

Whenever the recordings of these moments are accompanied by testimonies, they will help the viewer to better understand what is happening at each moment and will even help them to get more involved and get into the role of what happened in the images they are watching.

In order for the final audiovisual documentary to be dynamic and more attractive for the viewer, it is advisable to accompany it with different shots of some of the most interesting moments, such as those mentioned above regarding the testimonies of the hunters or even one of the most important moments, the lunge.
of the most important moments, the adventure.

What are the steps to film my hunting documentary? This is how we do it at Young Wild Hunters.
One of the ways you can follow if you want to start filming your hunting trips is the following:

Organise the plan well, i.e. dates, location, travel, schedules, etc.
Decide on the approach you want to give to the audiovisual document.
Prepare the interventions of the people taking part, so that their statements are accurate and in accordance with the recorded images.
Organisation of the team (who is in charge of what at any given moment).
Ordering the material already recorded
Editing the videos, continuing with the pre-visualisation and correcting errors.
Disseminate the material.

It's easy to start recording your hunting documentary!
We encourage all of you to record your field days, so that you can relive throughout your life everything you experience, never forget, and also be able to transmit to your closest people, your way of understanding this activity.
