How do you attach a Harris Engineering bipod to a weapon?

Bipods can be attached to the strap swivel stud or to a Picatinny rail.

I have an older model bipod and would like to attach it to a Picatinny rail, do I need to buy a new bipod?

No, you can purchase an adapter for a Picatinny rail and you can use your current bipod. There are a few adapters to choose from: PRA, RBA-1 (quick release), RBA-2 (without quick release)

What do the letters/numbers represent on the different models?

  • BR – 6 to 9 inches
  • L – 9 to 13 inches
  • M – Notched legs (1 inch increments)
  • S – Swivel (tilt) for leveling on uneven terrain.
  • 2 – Self-leveling legs
  • P – attaches to Picatinny rail.
  • 25 – 12 to 25 inches tall
  • 25C – 13 ½ to 27 inches tall
  • H – 13 ½ to 27 inches tall

Example: S-BRM: Extends 6 to 9 inches with notched legs and pivots.

The bipod should be positioned with the legs facing/folded forward (towards the muzzle).
