The Extremadura Hunting Federation Launches the XI Edition of the #CAZAFOTOGRÁFICA Contest

#caza #concurso #fotografía

The Extremadura Hunting Federation (FEDEXCAZA) has announced the opening of the call for the eleventh edition of the prestigious #CAZAFOTOGRÁFICA competition. This contest, aimed at amateur and professional photographers over 14 years of age, has the support of El Corte Inglés, Iberdoex, La Valenciana Calzados and Hospederías de Extremadura.

As in previous editions, the competition is divided into two main categories: 'Hunters' and 'Nature'. The 'Hunters' category is intended for snapshots depicting hunters, game species, values, landscapes and contexts related to the hunting sector. On the other hand, the 'Nature' category includes photographs of natural subjects that are not directly linked to hunting.

The aim of the competition is to promote hunting through images that reflect its active role in rural development, the conservation of the natural environment and its importance as a social and sporting activity. The aim is to highlight the close relationship between hunting, flora and fauna, and the positive impact on the rural environment.

Contest Rules

Each participant may submit up to ten works, with complete freedom of technique and procedure. The photographs must be original, unpublished and not have been awarded in other competitions or published in any media. FEDEXCAZA stresses that images captured in hunting farms, zoos or other similar enclosures, or those obtained by endangering the species, their offspring or their nests, will not be accepted.

Registration and Submission of Works

To participate, each contestant must:

  1. Complete the registration form available at: Registration form.
  2. Send the photos to central@fedexcaza.com . If necessary, due to the size of the files, it is recommended to use high-capacity document sending platforms such as WeTransfer. Images must be sent in JPEG, PNG or PDF format, with the highest resolution and quality.

Exhibition and Awards

The jury will make a selection of the works received, which will be exhibited at the El Corte Inglés stand during the 2024 Hunting, Fishing and Nature Fair (FECIEX). The winning photographs will be announced on September 15.

Terms and Conditions

Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the established terms and conditions, as well as the transfer of the rights to the images submitted.

This new edition of the #CAZAFOTOGRÁFICA contest seeks to consolidate its commitment to the dissemination of sustainable hunting and environmental conservation, encouraging the participation of the photography community in promoting these values.
